WEEK 1

          Time : Start 8.00am

Step 1   : Stick the notes nicely into your exercise book.

Step 2   : READ the notes and textbook page 35-45.

Step 3   : Answer Workbook page 15 (Exercise 4B).

Step 4   : Stick the worksheet nicely into your exercise book and answer it by referring to the notes and textbook page 35-45.

Step 5   : Capture/take photo of your exercise book and workbook page 15 and send it privately to Teacher Amal through Whatsapp or Kaizala.

2) You can COPY the notes into your Exercise book nicely.

WEEK 2

Topic    : Revision - Chapter 4 : The coming of the Westerner.

Step 1   : PRINT and STICK or COPY(Write down) the NOTE nicely into your exercise book. Write down today's date Thursday, 9th April 2020 on top of your book. (Click the blue link view or download note).

Step 2  : READ the notes and answer the QUIZ.(Click the blue link above for Quiz).

Topic    : Chapter 6. (Textbook page 53-61)

Step 1   : PRINT and STICK or COPY(Write down) the NOTE nicely into your exercise book.

Step 2  : Answer Social Studies workbook page 24 and 26. Refer to the notes and your textbook page 53-61.

Submit the Exercise and Workbook on Tuesday 28th April 2020.

          Topic: Project: Spices.

           Lesson Objectives:

           At the end of the lesson, children will be able to:

           - name few spices.
           - recognize the spices they have at home.
           - Use the internet to find more information about spices.

          

           Steps/Instruction:

           Step 1: Collect and gather at least 4 - 6 different spices.
           (If you don't have spices at home, you can print or draw spices).

           Step 2: Use google/internet to find more information about spices.
           Step 3: Use blank paper and write down your name and class.
           Step 4: Stick and arrange the spices according to your creativity.
            Step 5: You may use colour pens or any decoration to make your project look nice.

           Lesson Objectives:

           At the end of the lesson, children will be able to:

           - differentiate natural resources and human-made resources.
           - State types of resources.
           - Use the internet to find more information about resources.

           All the notes and activity sheets are inside your Home Pack Learning.
           They can be download here too.

           Step 1: Write down your name and class. Read the given notes from your Home               Pack Learning. (download notes)

           Step 2: Answer Activity Sheet 1.

WEEK 11 of BCP (Week 22 of School)

Due to changes in School day and timetable, Social Studies lesson will be taught on Saturday

          Day   : Saturday.

         Date  : 27th June 2020.

         Time : Start at 9.30am.

         Topic  : Resources of Brunei. 

           Lesson Objectives:

           At the end of the lesson, you (student) will be able

           - Name the resources according to Riddles.

             -  States 4 changes in Brunei led by Discovering of Oil.

           

           Steps/Instruction:

           Step 1 : Open your Workbook Page 36 - 38.

           Step 2 : Write down today's date on top of the page 27th June 2020.

           Step 3 : Read the Riddles, name the resources by referring to the pictures                                     (Exercise 8A).
           Step 4 : State the changes in Brunei by referring to the Pictures and your textbook.
                       (Exercise 8B).

WEEK 13 of BCP (Week 24th of School)

Due to changes in School day and timetable, Social Studies lesson will be taught on Saturday

          Day   : Saturday.

         Date  : 11th July 2020.

         Time : Start at 9.30am.

         Topic  : Create A Poster for His Majesty 74th Birthday.

           Lesson Objectives:

           At the end of the lesson, you (student) will be able

           - Spell His Majesty name correctly.

           - Remember His Majesty birthday date.

           

           Steps/Instruction:

           Step 1 : Prepare a draft paper, pencil or pen and colour.

           Step 2 : Download the notes here.

           Step 3 : Read the notes given above the activity instruction.
           Step 4 : Submit the project on 16th July 2020 and Don't forget to collect your                               exercise book and new Social Studies HPL.

         Day   : Saturday.

         Date  : 18th July 2020.

         Time : Start at 9.30am.

         Topic  : Chapter 8.2 and 8.3 (Brunei Resources).

           Lesson Objectives:

           At the end of the lesson, you (student) will be able

           - Name three resources in Brunei.

           - Name the two most important resources that Brunei have today.

           

           Steps/Instruction:

           Step 1 : Read Social Studies textbook page 76-81.

           Step 2 : Read the notes given (HPL Social Studies Book).

           Step 3 : Answer Workbook page 39-40.
           Step 4 : Answer the worksheet by referring to the textbook and notes.
           Step 5 : Submit both books on 20th July 2020.
